Habitat Celebrates One Year of Service!

This month, Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, PA is pleased to celebrate our well-respected, faithful AmeriCorp Paul Rihn, and his successful completion of one dynamic year of service as Construction Site Leader.

Paul, who has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity for over 20 years, made the decision to become an official member of our AmeriCorps staff team last year. Since, Paul has diligently worked together with the members of our construction crew to complete an outstanding 16 Critical Home Repairs, lead countless volunteers during two "Rock The Block" Community Clean-Up events, and even helped to complete the construction of one of Habitat Montco's largest build projects from it's groundbreaking to now.

Throughout his year as Habitat Montco's Construction Site Leader, AmeriCorp Paul Rihn has truly been a model for service, selflessly contributing his time and skill to help provide shelter for families throughout our community. We are grateful for his service, and look forward the upcoming year when Paul will commit another 10 months to serving Montgomery County.
