Status: Exempt, Full-time, Benefit Eligible


Habitat for Humanity, Montgomery County, PA is looking for a full-time, service-minded Administrative Assistant for our main office in West Norriton, PA. This position is Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.  Our Administrative Assistant must have excellent phone skills, great organizational skills and be customer service focused.  Some data entry and accounts payable experience is necessary as the Administrative Assistant will support Finance Manager with some bookkeeping functions.  The right candidate will have an upbeat, positive and polished attitude with a desire to get things done.  This position must be comfortable with interacting and taking direction from multiple departments. They should also be comfortable interacting with a diverse group of people including customers, vendors, contractors, volunteers, board members as well as the general public.  In addition, they should be able to manage multiple projects at once and have the flexibility to adapt to a fast paced work environment.


  • Welcomes visitors and mail/deliveries and stamps and disseminates mail
  • Answer the phones with a smile and a can-do attitude taking/delivering messages when necessary
  • Supports the Executive Director with scheduling, phone messages and filing
  • Keeps the office calendar, Executive Director’s calendar maintains the front office professional appearance.
  • Assist finance with clerical tasks like data entry, filing, correspondence, and accounts payable tasks
  • Excellent teaming skills
  • Must have solid working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, the Internet as well as general office machines (Quickbooks knowledge a plus!)
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Strong organizational/time management skills
